October Schedule

Autumn is upon us, although it doesn't feel like it in Texas. I have quite a bit happening over the next couple of months. I'll be hitting the west coast with the Bandulus for a couple of weeks beginning at the end of October, but even more exciting to me is a chance to have my new band Mente Clara perform in November. Mente Clara is a three horn fronted group devoted to interpreting the music of Hermeto Pascoal, Moacir Santos, Toninho Horta, Egberto Gismonti, and other Brazilian masters. More details will come as the date approaches, but we will be taking the stage at Skinny's in a double bill with Brian Donohoe's Progress on November 30.
